Location: Morris County, NJ (Morris County is a very nice area of northern New Jersey located 45 minutes due west of New York City and in the vicinity of numerous other pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Conveniently located for those living in Central or Northern NJ who have access to 287, convenient for those living in far west New Jersey and into PA, and convenient for those living east of Morris County along Routes 80, 280, or 78.)
H-1B and Green Card Sponsorship: Our client will transfer H-1Bs and will consider sponsoring a candidate for their Green Card.
Relocate: Company will consider offering relocation assistance.
Responsibilities: Challenges, Expectations and Deliverables for this position:
- Take ownership of multiple studies, up to and through the NDA stage, and into Phase IV.
- Produce analysis, reports and graphs for Phases I ? IV clinical studies and in support of NDA submissions.
- Work on both domestic and international trials.
- Respond to FDA requests.
- Interact with Statisticians, the Clinician managing the protocol, and other members of the clinical team.
- Serve as a defacto internal consultant for SAS. Review program code and recommend solutions to problems.
- Lead a group of programmers when necessary on applicable studies and submissions.
- Debug SAS programs and assist junior programmers.
Salary/Bonus/Benefits: Base salary will vary depending on the quality and depth of the hired candidate?s experience. Compensation includes a bonus, an excellent 401(k) plan, and immediate tuition reimbursement.
Experiences, Skills, Accomplishments and Qualities Desired:
- 3 to 6 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in SAS programming generating analysis, reports, and graphs from clinical trial data.
- NDA ( ISS / ISE ) submission experience is a plus.
- Bachelor?s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. A Masters or Ph.D. is a plus.
- Communication skills, personality, people skills, and aspiration to grow into a Project Lead role over time.
- Ability to lead a group of programmers involved in creating tables, graphs, and reports fof an NDA submission.
- A real understanding of the whole clinical process and the terminology that accompanies it.
- Programming knowledge of languages such as FORTRAN, C, C++, VB and/or PL/SQL would be desirable.
