Statistician II (Durham NC)

Get your foot in the door!!! Statistician positions are available immediately at one of the countries leading university medical centers. This position offers excellent career growth potential and will be offered on a temp-to-permanent basis! You are needed to provide statistical support to clinical oncology research trials. Part of your day to day activities will include supporting analysis and reporting activities, qc of statistical analyses, exploratory analyses. A critical need will be for you to provide statistical support to the database lock activities of clinical research trials. Specifically, includes support the data cleaning activities, provide guidance to programmers for the production of table/figure/listings, qc the analysis, and exploratory statistical analyses.

Qualifications are BS or MS in (bio)statistics with 1+ years experience; pharma experience preferred, good experience in SAS and SAS/STAT; additional experience in oncology or longitudinal studies and working with Splus are the pluses. Some travel is required. Candidate must be US Citizen or permanent resident.
