Supervisor or Manager Support Logistics

We are an Osteobiologic Company and process human bone and tissue for transplantation in a clean room environment. We are looking for a Supervisor/Manager of Support Logistics to join our innovative team, in this life-improving business.

 

The Supervisor/Manager of the Support Logistics Department, will be responsible for the following functions:Transport of materials, including manufactured and packaged supplies, using company vehiclesManage and direct daily activity of raw material receipt, storage, and distributionMonitor and direct material controlInsure cycle counts of all materials are performed in accordance with applicable procedures and discrepancies are resolved promptlyMonitor and direct timely and accurate movement of released materials into appropriate warehouses (physically and perpetually)

 

To qualify, candidates must have a Bachelor?s Degree, Logistics management preferred, or BS in related field/ discipline; solid team player that possesses strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; minimum one year supervisory experience in Inventory Control or Shipping/ Receiving at the Supervisor level and three to five years at the manager level; excellent computer skills; outstanding organizational/administrative skills; ability to multitask; strong attention to detail; basic math skills; strong deductive reasoning skills; ability to react with a strong sense of urgency; excellent judgment skills; and Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience a plus.
