TRAINING SPECIALIST

Top 10 Pharmaceutical Co. with a location in Cambridge MA is seeking a Training Specialist to join their team.

 

Requirements:
The position requires a minimum of a BS/BA degree in a related field. Training and/or Instructional Design certifications are preferred.  In addition to skills and abilities outlined in the section above, a minimum of 8 years experience in relevant discipline with a B.S. and 6 years with a M.S.

 

Description:
Training Specialist is an experienced training professional who makes decisions about audience needs and delivery methodology and has mastery knowledge of policies and process.  The position requires the ability to apply principles of adult learning theory in the design and delivery of group training at functional and site wide level.
A Training Specialist III position will support larger, complex functional areas, and/or site wide training disciplines.

Responsibilities:
?Multiple delivery methods including small group and classroom training (primarily knowledge training). Trainer will spend a significant amount of time with authors and SMEs to obtain requisite knowledge and training.
?Maintenance and development of training programs will include, instructional design, needs assessment, and curricula development.
?Training administration activities will include: tracking and trending training data, interpreting data, and implementation of filing methodologies for records management.
?Training documentation activities will include: review of training materials and curricula, revising training policies and procedures, and designing changes to training documents.
?Site wide training support activities may include support of Welcome Week Facilitation, SCI, general facilitation and project management for site initiatives as required.
