Technical Trainer

Under very general supervision, working independently, and using discretion and experiential judgment, this position is responsible for developing and presenting hands-on and theoretical training modules for new and experienced employees. Provides ongoing guidance in technical, compliance, and project management matters to all levels of laboratory personnel. The Technical Trainer is expected to possess a thorough understanding of complex laboratory procedures and instrument troubleshooting. This position serves all departmental Managers in the research, compilation, presentation or facilitation of training on requested topics.

 

The successful candidate will possess a BS/BA degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related science.  Up to 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory performing analytical testing.  Must possess excellent communication skills.  Familiarity with ICH guidelines and FDA regulations.  Proficient in sample preparation procedures for bioanalytical methods and laboratory procedures.  Should be proficient in sample preparation procedures for bioanalytical methods and laboratory procedures.  Previous technical training experience in a scientific environment required.  Proficient with the use of analytical instrumentation to include HPLC, LCMS, and ICD.
