Temporary Technical Reviewer

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the review and edit of internal scientific documents

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Create and edit complex MS Word documents and templates Assist report authors with formatting and wordsmithing Ensure documents adhere to defined styles Ensure documents are completed within defined timeframes Assist with document handling

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: B.A./B.S.; science related field preferred but not required

Experience:  3 or more years; prefer biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience (documents will be in areas such as structural chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutics, drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, chemical engineering)

Specific Skills: Proven advanced skills in: MS Word; experience with ISIWriter and/or ISI Toolbox desired MS Excel Effective documentation review and editing Complex document editing such as electronic reviewing tools, electronic routing, cross-references, bookmarks, etc.Effective communicator Email Phone In person Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: none

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is in a relatively quiet office environment sitting, keyboarding, filing, and talking on the phone/in person, as well as other office related activities such as attending meetings. (Approximately 90% sitting at computer/desk and 10% walking)
