A key responsibility of the Global Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs, Quality Systems and Training (QST) organization is the global development of the eSubmissions training program across Abbott. The eSubmissions training mission is to create, implement and facilitate training for the electronic submission document management system to meet organizational needs while complying with regulatory requirements.
The e-Submissions Training Manager has the following major job responsibilities:
Develops state-of-the art eSubmissions course content and other training resources for a variety of audiences using multiple delivery methods. May manage internal and external resources to develop/design training to meet identified performance/compliance requirements.
Conceptualizes, plans and facilitates training sessions, workshops, Lunch and Learns and learning labs.
Has the aptitude to quickly learn and function as a document management system subject matter expert. Interacts with customers through facilitation of group sessions as well as one-on-one training sessions. Works well with people at all levels of the business.
Contributes to the development and implementation of a comprehensive long-range eSubmissions training plan tied to the business and regulatory needs.
Independently resolves routine issues and proposes potential solutions to complex problems to management.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously and participates on multiple teams to help drive continuous improvement to the overall eSubmissions Program
Determines program effectiveness and drive positive changes to support the business.
Supports customers both internal and external to Abbott. Primarily supports the Lake County site and secondarily supports the global sites.
Supports ongoing QST project beyond eSubmissions such as event project management and organizational process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required
Understands and practically implements the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) instructional design model, or equivalent, and adult learning principles.
Strong Project Management Skills Required.
