Training Specialist

Experienced training professional who makes decisions and has mastery knowledge of policies and process. Is able to apply principles of adult learning theory in the design and delivery of group training at functional and site wide level.
?The Training Specialist will be responsible for preparing training materials, completing training session documentation, follow up with trainees on failed assessments, scheduling time to perform skill assessments. Training will be providing in the following settings: classroom, small group or 1:1 training provided at functional level.
?Training maintenance activities include instructional design, curricula creation and maintenance, Training Material/skill creation and review, and Training Review Group responsibilities.
?Training Specialist will participate in record maintenance activities as required by functional area. Tracks training through training database and runs reports to determine compliance and training need
?Site wide training support may include instructional design, classroom delivery and/or module maintenance for SCI roll-out, Welcome Week and corporate initiatives.
?Participation on sub teams to continuously review and improve the training system SOPs, business processes and programs as required.

Requirements:
?BA/BS degree in related field is required for the Training Specialist II position.
?Continuation of training in adult learning theory, instructional design, and advanced training technologies would be expected for the Training Specialist.
?A minimum of 4-6 years experience in relevant discipline is required.
