VB.NET Programmer with COGNOS Framemaker Mgr. Preferred

Technisource is a national provider of technology services, focused on achieving the unique goals of our clients and consultants. Seeking VB.net programmers, preferably with COGNOS Framework Manager experience for a 3 month contract in Kalamazoo, Michigan, supporting a pharmaceutical company.

 

VB.NET programmer needed for a 3-4 month contract in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Candidates must have relational database systems and development experience in a regulated environment (FDA, OSHA, nuclear, military).


1. Develop modular, supportable .net code for a database reporting system.
2. Create technical documentation to support the code.
3. Support IT systems in all phases of the system lifecycle.
4. Participate in business process and systems analysis, detailed solution design, solution development, detailed application testing and debugging, creating and reviewing technical and testing/validation documentation, providing 1st/2nd level systems support and issue resolution across all shifts, ad hoc queries, infrastructure change assessment, installation and support of commercial software, development/testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and technical support/administration. 

 

All the above  these activities must take place in a manner consistent with any applicable regulatory requirements. Requires regular interaction with representatives from other business units and peers within IT and Quality Operations as needed to support these activities. Consultant will support manufacturing, safety, quality, and environmental projects, needs, goals, and objectives as well as daily optimization of manufacturing and business processes. Framework Manager highly desirable.
