Validation Specialist III

Validation Spec III JOB SUMMARY: Accomplish validation tasks on small to medium projects independently, provides validation engineering of cGMP equipment systems and processes. Based on engineering specifications, performs validation projects that includes authoring protocols, executing validation protocols and writing reports of validation results. Represent the Validation engineering department to contribute to Validation Master Planning on specific projects. Ensures timely resolution of all deviations and changes that occur during the execution phase. Develop validation standards, procedures, and guidelines for the utilization within the Validation department with guidance from supervisor. Leads the validation activities for medium scale projects. Will represent the Validation department on cross-functional site teams.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Based on engineering specifications, performs validation projects of more technically complex nature on equipment or processes that includes authoring protocols, executing validation protocols, and writing reports of validation results.
Represent the Validation engineering department to contribute to Validation Master Planning on specific projects. Develop Validation schedules, resource loading, and other project deliverables as required. Provide technical leadership on cross-functional investigation teams.
Review and approve Validation protocols and summary reports generated by Validation staff against standard procedures and policies. Provide guidance to Validation staff writing protocols and final reports.
Contributes to a cross-functional team in developing Validation best practices, standards, and guidelines, which includes exploring new techniques, methods, and other industry practices.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a BS degree in a scientific or engineering field
Minimum of 4 plus years of relevant Validation Engineering experience with a BS Engineering degree and 6 plus years with a BS Non-Engineering degree. Minimum of 2 plus years of relevant Validation Engineering experience with a MS Engineering degree and 4 plus years with a BS Non-Engineering degree.
