Validation Supervisor - QC Instrument and Software Team

The Validation Supervisor - QC Instrument and Software Team oversees staff supporting instrument / software validation, and equipment qualification/re-qualification.  You will write, review and approve protocols and manage the schedules for the team validation activities.  In addition, you will write and revise SOP’s, perform validation testing as needed, and oversee standard evaluation used for assay performance.  You will ensure reagents (reference materials, system suitability standards, etc.) and reagent preparation activities are completed. You will monitor and implement and inventory system of reference material and standards to ensure availability for the department.  Finally, you will coordinate activities for the laboratories, provide team leadership, as well as provide mid-year / end of year evaluations for the team.

 

Position Requirements: Requires at least 2 + years of relevant supervisory / leadership experience in a Quality Control environment.  This position requires excellent ability to lead, coach, train and develop team members.  Excellent problem solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal skills are required.  Excellent time, resource and people management are required.  Strong computer skills are required. BS in Scientific or Engineering discipline required.
