Web Application Tester

Project Description:  Tester For REACT$ Reporting.


Required Skills:  eTester, Rational Robot, Mercury Interactive, QA and Validation.

Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Web Application Testing experience.
- Experience testing client server applications is a plus.
- Candidate MUST have hands-on experience using automated testing tools such as eTester, Rational Robot, Mercury Interactive, etc.
- Candidate MUST have strong analysis skills and must have demonstrated ability through documenting test cases, use cases, test plans.
- Superior communication skills are required.
- Candidate MUST have minimum of 2 years experience writing test scripts and test plans. Test plan/script experience should include both system testing and stress/load testing.
- Candidate MUST have experience in documenting test failures and bringing to resolution.
- Candidate MUST have experience testing online reports. Candidates without this experience will not be considered. Experience testing Business Objects reports is a plus.
- Candidate should have basic technical knowledge for web and client server applications.
- Candidate should have experience using traceability matrices from requirements to test case implementation.
- Candidate MUST have minimum 1 year experience with stress/load testing.
- Experience with SQL is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for leading testing effort relative to all existing and new system reports.
- Candidate will work with test team lead and members to identify areas of improvement and implementing those improvements.
- Candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying test scripts for all existing and new system reports.
- Candidate will be responsible for performing full regression testing on all system reports, documenting failures, and ensuring all failures are corrected prior to re-implementation.
- Candidate will be responsible for tracking discovered system deficiencies and ensuring they are brought to resolution per the project schedule.
- Candidate will be responsible for communicating discovered system deficiencies to the development team and project manager.
- Candidate will be responsible for working with business clients on user-acceptance testing and tracking/ensuring resolution of any discovered issues.
- Candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality of application and reports.
