We are seeking an enthusiastic eData/Electronic Data Capturing (EDC) Technical Specialist to join the team in our Durham, NC office.
As an eData Technical Specialist, you will be responsible, with other team members, for defining and updating global electronic data capture (EDC), ePRO (Patient Reported Outcomes) and other eData processes. Reporting to the Global Director of EDC, you will act as the primary US contact for both Data Services and Data Operations Leads and will be assigned as EDC mentor to full-service Project Managers on EDC studies. You are likely to be involved in EDC discussions with sponsors; to participate in creation of innovative methods of working with EDC software(s) and to act as corporate-wide information source for EDC and eDiary information. Review of global SOPs for eClinical, input to training modules, contributing to development of programming standards and creation of communication materials will be part of your role.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years EDC experience, with good knowledge of detailed processes across all functions.
- Must be confident, organized, an excellent planner, open to new ideas and have good presentation skills.
- An ability to communicate to all levels of a business globally is essential.
- Travel 10-15%, some international travel may be included
