Account Director

EMCOR Facilities Services, a division of EMCOR Group has an immediate need for an Account Director in Oakbrook Terrace!  Candidate will be responsible for managing the operation of maintenance service professionals serving Facilities Management and Operation and Maintenance account.  This role requires extensive experience and expertise in building systems, maintenance management strategies, customer service and personnel management.


Candidate will manage the business relationship between EFS and the customer including contract management, profit and loss management, contract(s) renewal and contract(s) expansion.  This role includes representing other EMCOR business units to the customer for all the issues described above.


As such, the position requires outstanding customer management skills in a challenging environment, proven staff leadership capabilities, extensive technical experience with facilities infrastructure and facilities service delivery, and strong business and contract management skills. 


Candidate will manage supervisory positions and will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units.  Will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


 


Must have 5 years proven project management as well as 15 years proven maintenance or service contracting experience.  Must have 10 years of proven business development or account management experience. Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline required.
