Job Duties

This position will supervise the work of assigned staff in the maintenance of buildings and grounds. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for scheduling maintenance and monitoring the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning.  The individual will supervise janitorial services and grounds maintenance such as landscaping and lawn care.  In addition, this individual will supervise the mail room to ensure the delivery of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.  This individual will also oversee facility security to safeguard organization associates and property.

 

Qualifications

1.  Ability to supervise, coach and train department associates.
2.  Must be able to develop vendor relationships and supervise vendor 
performance as it relates to services provided.
3.  Possess good organizational and follow-up skills.
4.  Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
5.  Proficient in computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
6.  Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
7.  Maintenance experience is a plus.
