Custodial Site Manager

Large facility services company seeks a Project Manager for Northern NJ.  Primary responsibilities include:

 Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards. Instruct staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment. Plan and prepare employee work schedules. Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities in order to determine the type of work required. Investigate complaints about service and equipment, and take corrective action. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services. Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements. Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.

 

The successful candidate must have 3-5 years of experience managing custodial services, a college degree is preferred. Other knowledge, skills and abilities required include:

 Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job. Strong organizational and scheduling skills, ability to multi-task efficiently Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
