Electrician

 

Prestigious medical college located in New York City on the upper east side of Manhattan has the following position available within it's expanding Engineering and Maintenance Department:

 

Maintains the infrastructure systems of the College's approximately 1.4 million square feet of space, in a condition suitable for the College to conduct it's primary missions of education and research; primarily provides maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services on all of the College's electrical systems; provides similar services on the College's other utility systems.

 

Requirements: Must have a minimum of 5-7 years experience in general maintenance in a large institution or commercial facility with complex infrastructure systems (of which a minimum of 3 years must be in the electrical trade); High School diploma or equivalent, completion of electrical trade school required; ability to understand complex interrelationships between multiple utility systems essential; must be able to understand and carry out complex technical instructions (both written and oral); must be able to guide the activities of co-workers on assigned tasks.
