Facilities Assistant Project Manager - temporary

Temporary Assistant Project Manager, Facilities & Administration

 

Reporting to the Director, Facilities & Administration, the APM will assist in the activities of the Facilities & Administration department to ensure that services, systems, and facility requirements are being provided to the company in the most efficient manner.  Communicate with vendors and end users with regard to office equipment, move logistics and other services.  Collaborate with other Administration & Facilities personnel on daily operations and special projects, such as; security, addressing department space issues or assisting with building related issues. Manage move logistics and furniture purchase and inventory. Act as purchasing coordinator, travel coordinator, and contract administrator and manage other services provided. 

 

This is a temporary position to cover 8 month leave of absence.

 

Requirements: BA/BS: 2-3 years experience in administration and/or facilities management; knowledge of office and building service operations.  Demonstrated proficiency in project planning and implementation.  Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.  Ability to work in a service oriented team environment.  Excellent organization skills, ability to work under deadlines.  Computer proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and ability to learn other software applications as required.  HTML a plus.
