Facilities Maintenance Manager - Plano

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilities ? Certified/Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to Maintain the Plano site to ensure site remains fully operational in all respects including, but not limited to Mechanical/Electrical infrastructure, house keeping, general maintenance and upkeep, administration including ground maintenance. Manage vendor facilities related contracts and coordinate corporate requirements in this location. Manage on site mailroom, coffee/soda/kitchen/cafe, including all soft and hard FM activities in a planned and controlled environment. Review all facility contracts/agreements and ensure terms and conditions are reasonable and flexibilities are built in where possible to react to business changes whether contract or expand environments. Ensure contract compliance in accordance with McAfee standards. Coordinate any changes to facilities operations at the appropriate time.

Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and buildings. Plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Will work in coordination with McAfee Purchasing and IT for the smooth operation of the facility.

Health and Safety / Security ? Global Safety Manager and Global Security Managers maintain overall responsibility in all respects for these facets. It is the Plano Facilities Maintenance Mangers responsibility to ensure that the site is maintained correctly and to coordinate any efforts as and when certain upgrades/changes are required to maintain corporate policies. Assist the Global Safety and Global Security Managers at the appropriate times to ensure compliance.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

? Minimum of 8-10 years experience of facilities engineering and project management in a high technology environment
? Two years of space planning and move management
? Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD
? Knowledge of facilities engineering design and construction required inside data centers
? Excellent communication skills
? Excellent organizational and good record keeping skills
? Able to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics
? Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project or similar software
? Certification or license from a professional organization or institution of higher learning

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

Bachelor?s degree (BS), or equivalent, in an engineering discipline or related field
