Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are currently recruiting for a facilities Maintenance Technician position with a Sidney area client. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3-5 years of ammonia refrigeration and boiler experience and knowledge of CFG refrigeration, A/C and compressed air systems.  This individual must be a highly motivated and a self-directing person. Responsibilities include be able to track and work within an assigned budget, be able to work with all contractors, get quotes and direct the contractor's activities and make sure they are following all of company safety rules and plant policies. This is a contract to hire position. The target pay rate is $16.00/hr to $20.00/hr.

 

This individual will be responsible for the following areas:
*All refrigeration systems:
- Process safety management
- Operate rounds and inspections
- P&ID drawings
- All aspects of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of the refrigeration process
*Air Compressors and Air Dryers
- Oil level and filters
- PM's and service work performed to compressors and air dryer
- Cooling systems for air compressors and dryers
*Facility Repairs
- Incoming Water
- Surveillance cameras, door alarms
- Ceilings in the facility
- All drain and sanitary systems
- Landscaping mowing of the grass
- Makeup air filters and exhaust units
- All emergency lighting and exit lighting
*Boilers
- Steam for production process and hot water heater
- Water treatment for the boilers
- Maintaining the boiler and all controls
