Facilities Management Construction Project Manager

Responsible for the California Region, the Project Manager will be a key member of the team responsible for full-scope project management services including;
Implementation of all Rosemont and Illinois Capital Site-Based construction, renovation, relocation, and reconfiguration projects including pre-construction evaluation and planning, procurement and management of consultants and contractors, and coordination/integration with in-house teams. Implementation and management of branch construction, renovation, relocation, reconfiguration projects located in other BPNA regions. Responsibilities will include the management and supervision of outsourced and site based teams in the regions, evaluation and planning of the projects, creation and management of the project budget . Management and supervision of the project-based administrative and financial processes related to project tracking and status databases, financial reporting, invoicing, and budget management for the Illinois Region. Creation and maintenance of a single-point critical path milestone schedule for all significant project and move activity within the Capital Year for purposes of extending the projects? planning horizon and supporting project-based decision making. Estimating and planning the Capital Year projects for all regions Facilitation/Change Management support for the implementation of revised project processes. Creation of new project processes as required to accommodate change of BPNA business and business units Assist in management of conversion requirements related to branch acquisitions Coordination and management of region facilities and real estate vendors Coordinating Capital Work against the Real Estate portfolio for the Illinois Region. Providing guidance and assistance as required for the Small Projects Team in the Headquarters location in Rosemont Coordination of all Branch Related Facilities work and expenses related to the Small Projects The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and close-out of all projects assigned by the Facilities Director. Projects will be assigned on the basis of workload, and may be grouped on the basis of geography, Business Unit (Client), or project type, and may include out-of-state assignments. The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for the performance of all project team members, although there will be no direct reporting relationship. Responsibilities include all team resources (internal and external) including needs identification, selection and management of consultants, contractors, and vendors. Scope of work will incorporate all project components including estimating, furniture, deisgn, move management, construction, TeleCom, and data. In this capacity the Project manager will be responsible for all necessary contract management (consultant, contractor, and vendor), financial management (including budget preparations and cost tracking), and performance management (including planning and implementation quality, status reporting, and client satisfaction).

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare project budgets and scope changes, track project anticipated costs, identify potential budget problems, ensure that project budgets are met. Prepare project schedules, ensure milestones are identified and tracked and communicated to all team members, and that the impacts of changes and/or issues are identified and managed. Execute project invoice process ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant turn-around of invoice approvals, issue resolution, change order management, and customer billing. Ensure all resources are up-to-date in invoicing and payment. Prepare consultant, contractor, and vendor contracts and purchase orders, ensuring complete, enforceable scopes of services, terms and conditions, costs, and payment processes. Prepare Project Action Plans which identify project objectives, resources, project team roles, critical success factors (CSFs), budgets, and schedules. Ensure that CSFs are tracked and met throughout the project. Ensure that project teams meet all procedural requirements for code, safety, and audit compliance. Chair regularly scheduled project team meetings for all projects, prepare and track meeting minutes and action item lists, identify performance and/or resource problems with Facilities? Director. Provide feedback to the other Project Managers, on consultant/vendor performance, project issues, and new resources. Provide feedback and support to project and facility management staffs regarding consultant/vendor performance and opportunities for continual improvement.
