Facilities Manager

Robert Half International (RHI), recognized by Fortune magazine as one of ?America?s Most Admired Companies?, seeks a Facilities Manager to join its Corporate Office in Pleasanton, CA.

 The Facilities Manager reports to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities, and leads the strategic facilities planning efforts for short-term and long-range plans as well as budgets. Develop, implement and oversee all aspects of facilities management including the preparation of the capital budget. Schedule work as needed, solicit proposals, review cost estimates and work closely with other department management to achieve desired results as it pertains to corporate build outs, relocations, building maintenance and the occupancy and capacity studies and needs. Assess, analyze and interpret monthly financial budget reports. Direct and oversee facilities staff. Oversee ongoing operation of corporate facility, buildings, utilities and property management. Plan, direct and control multiple facilities services to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs. Recommend to senior management infrastructure that is needed, set goals, monitor results, and create an environment that staff is able to perform at an exceptional level.

 

Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree with 15+ years experience (Program, project and or facilities management).Project management, Facilities Management, Critical Facilities, and/or maintenance facilities certifications preferred.Knowledge of best-demonstrated practices in implementing facility programs, management of critical facilities, Experience with computer aided facilities management software, corporate security systems.Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety requirements. Ability to read, understand, and interpret blue prints and building plans.Strong financial acumen as related to managing facilities budgets and operating accounts.Excellent negotiation, communication, and time management skills.Ability to manage crises response and disaster recovery efforts with senior management and local, state and federal agencies.Ability to recruit, manage, and mentor a diverse group of technical, non-technical and support personnel.
