Facilities Technician

DTS, located in Agoura Hills seeks a Facilities Technician.

Responsibilities Include:Perform minor repairs of all buildings and equipment. Complete some carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.  Monitor work orders via an email database. Handle office moves. Perform preventive maintenance procedures on building equipment on a scheduled basis. Assist with the renovation/remodeling of buildings and repair drywall. Perform outside custodial duties such as parking maintenance.

Qualifications:

The qualified individual will have 1 to 3 years of responsible experience in building maintenance and repair.  Good skills in the use of hand and power tools.  Also, they will have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in addition to the ability to write simple correspondence.  Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.  Finally, the qualified individual must have the ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Microsoft Outlook knowledge is a must.
