Embrex, Inc. Facilities Technician

This position involves routine maintenance and repair of facility mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, routine maintenance and repair of equipment, as well as scheduling and overseeing outside contractors to perform advanced maintenance, repairs, and facility or equipment modifications or installation.

 

Job Responsibilities:Monitor building mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems for proper function and operation.  Perform basic repairs and with some direction schedule and coordinate with outside contractors for contractual maintenance and major repairs. Monitor building equipment including electrical generator, steam generator, air compressor, walk-in cooler, and walk-in freezer for proper function and operation.  Perform basic repairs, schedule and coordinate with outside contractors for contractual maintenance and major repairs. Install new equipment and perform routine maintenance and basic repairs as necessary. Record, calculate, and maintain detailed records of maintenance and equipment parameters in accordance with Embrex QA policies.  Under direction of supervisor, revise and develop SOPs for equipment and procedures as needed. Other duties as required

 

Qualifications:Facilities Technician with approximately 5 year?s experience HVAC, electrical, data and voice knowledge a plus
