PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To provide West Group employees with a safe and comfortable working environment by maintaining a clean and orderly physical interior to the building. Provides strong internal customer service by following up on all special requests and helping other team members in their daily tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for maintaining building housekeeping standards. Cleans, vacuums, dusts, polishes metalwork, scrubs and waxes all surfaces (i.e. floor, carpeting, upholstery, cubicles etc.) for interior areas using established procedures and cleaning supplies. Cleans restrooms on a consistent basis. Operates power equipment such as vacuums, power sweepers, scrubbers and buffers as needed to perform daily job duties.
Replenishes routine supplies for rest rooms and other common work areas on a routine basis. Empties wastebaskets and trash containers and helps to sort recycling materials as well as transporting waste to disposal areas.
Performs other duties and assists in special projects as required. QualificationsEducation (Minimum requirements):
High School diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge and Skills/Previous experience (Minimum requirements):
Ability to lift 50 pounds. Proven discretionary judgement with ability to resolve both routine and non routine issues. Proven communication skills and exceptional service attitude. Ability to meet deadlines. Proven ability to work in a team based environment with other facilities team members. Demonstrated ability to handle multi-tasking environment.
