MGR UTILITIES & FACILITIES

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Facilities services and maintenance to all Utilities in
support of a Oral and Parenteral Manufacturing Operations. Provide Maintenance
Engineering support to Service Departments Quality Assurance, Materials, Human
Resources, Technical Services, Finance and Environmental, Health and Safety.
Interacts with other Regional BMS Site and outside suppliers to accomplish
strategic objectives and job functions. Develops adequate procedures and
methods to assure prompt and effective operation and maintenance of all plant
Utilities and Environmental Control Systems such as HVAC systems, boilers, air
compressors, air dryers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, water supply,
electrical substations, emergency generators, Purified Water system, WFI system
and buildings. Implements andensures compliance of environmental Federal and
Local Government Regulations, Company Control Programs and Policies. This
includes storm water, air emissions, hazardous waste and solid waste disposal
and water sources. Investigates and analyzes new techniques, materials,
equipment and evaluates their potential contribution in increasing efficiency
or reducing cost of maintenance of utilities and facilities. Develops and
manage Site Energy and water conservation programs. Participates and support
waste reduction elimination program following Corporate guidelines and
policies. Support 2010 Sustainability program objectives in partner ship with
EHS. Manage the performance of the preventive and corrective maintenance
program MAXIMO. Develops KPIs to monitor performance for Facilities services
and Utilities efficiencies. Support suppliers regional and national agreements
while procuring services and MROs. Participates in routine environmental
inspections of regulatory local and federal government agencies such as
Environmental Protection Agency, Environmental Quality Board, PRASA, etc.
Prepare and submit reports to local and federal government agencies related to
Environmental Regulations air, waste as required. Manage and administrate the
Facilities services budget and prepare the Capital Plan for asset replacement
and Facilities upgrades. Responsible for the administration of the Performance
Review System, Safety program, Training requirements. Assure that Company
pledge and core behaviors are followed in every day business and work
activities. Maintain a working environment of high morale, discipline, respect
and ethics. Will report any malfunction in emissions control equipment to
Engineering Director and or EHS Manager. Participates in the maintenance of
storm water pollution and spill prevention programs in compliance with
applicable environmental regulations and establish SOPs and reports any failure
of establish engineering and administrative controls to EHS and or Plant
management. Keep abreast of Plant development master plan and suggest and or
propose infrastructure changes required to support such developments

Job Requirements/Education:

BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. MBA or MES preferred. Registered
engineer in Puerto Rico is a must. PE license required. Minimum ten years of
experience in a pharmaceutical industry environment in Facilities and Utilities
or related industry. Of the 10 years experience, at least 5 should be in
maintenance and operation supervision and or management. Knowledge of cGMPs,
SOPs, Federal and local regulatory requirements. Proficient in the use of
computer software Work, Excel, Power Point, CMMS, BAS, PLC and Training
software packages Provenability to develop short and long term strategic plans
to meet business direction initiatives and comply with all legal obligations.
Demonstrated ability to influence and interact at all levels in the
organization. Ability to balance competing priorities while completing agreed
objectives upon projects in a timely manner. Fully bilingual EnglishSpanish
written and oral.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
