Equinox Fitness Clubs, the premier company in the fitness industry, currently operates 36 clubs throughout New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and South Beach. We are currently seeking Maintenance Associates to work at our Newport Beach and West Hollywood Clubs as well as a Maintenance Manager to work at our Newport Beach Club.
As a Maintenance Associate, you will ensure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained while providing all members, prospective members, and guests with excellent customer service. Candidates must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment. The ability to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools is required. Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilities are necessary.
As a Maintenance Manager, you will supervise the maintenance staff and operations of all activities related to club maintenance to ensure that the club consistently meets Equinox?s standards for cleanliness and safety while providing excellent customer service. You will also be accountable for overseeing deliveries, financial management of maintenance staff payroll and supply expenses, and assisting in the development of the maintenance department?s annual budget. You must have knowledge of emergency procedures, club services, and key competitors.
