Maintenance and Engineering Handyman

 We are a 250,000 sq. ft. cold storage warehouse in search of a responsible "handyman type" to join our maintenance team. This is a full time position and would require you to have your own set of tools that would be stored at our facility. The main requirements for this position are that you be: 1) Responsible 2) Willing to learn and 3) Have some experience with general maintenance or repair. You will learn our facility and the duties of the maintenance department during a probationary period.

 After the probationary period you will learn, from the ground up, the operation and maintenance of our ammonia refrigeration system. You will have hands on training and work closely with our Chief Engineer in learning our refrigeration system. This also includes off site training for days or weeks at a time on the general operation of ammonia refrigeration systems. You will act as an intern for our Chief Engineer and be trained to be his replacement. 

 You must have flexible hours and be willing to work any shift on an as needed basis. Eventually, you will be added to our security list and be called in for emergencies.
