Night Shift and Evening Supervisor Positions

Individuals will be part of ABM?s Engineering group located at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 
Oversight of Operating Engineers Responsible for HVAC to all campus buildings.  Approximately 1.8 million square feet.

 
Insure work assignments for ABM Hourly employees are completed in a responsible manner.

 
Maintain records, logs etc. of information pertinent to the Operation of Maintenance of campus equipment.

 
Respond to campus emergencies and interface with campus personnel (F.I.T. security, housing department, facilities department) on response remedy to campus emergencies/situations.

 
Performs Inspections of work performed by ABM Personnel to insure integrity of same.

 
Insure all work in compliance with campus and ABM health and safety guidelines.

 
Provides oversight to ABM Maintenance crews performing campus re-furbishment (interior renovations.)

 
Assists Janitorial Maintenance Supervisor if needed.

 

Qualifications:
NYC Refrigeration license
Certificates of Fitness related to position desirable ie:  1.  Sprinkler Standpipe 2.  Fire Alarm Maintenance.
Minimum 3 years progressive supervisory experience in the Building Maintenance (Engineering) Field.
Good communication, supervisory and organizational skills.
Familiarity with work Management and Building Management Systems.
