Painter

This position is responsible for maintaining finishes throughout the hospital; applying and repairing complex wall coatings, ceiling and floor finishes; repairing wall damage; and performing light to medium carpentry work and repairs to damaged laminate on doors and cabinets.  Will be required to pass a performance test on a damaged wall mockup prior to employment.  This is a first-shift position but is subject to occasional after hour work and call back.  Uniform service provided.  With Children's aggressive plans for expansion, numerous opportunities for advancement are anticipated. 

Must have 4 to 5 years experience in application of wallcoverings including wallpaper, paint and sheet goods, floor coverings including carpet and tile, and light to medium carpentry work including laminate repairs.  Must be able to prioritize work and supervise and train painters.  Must provide basic hand tools.
