Position: Project Manager

Description:  The Project Manager will lead, plan, and head the tasks of multiple field crews to implement environmental projects on development sites.  He/she will manage divisional resources to meet and exceed contract requirements, project specifications, and client expectations.  At times the position will also be expected to assist crews in executing project requirements in the field.  The qualified candidate must be capable in scheduling and producing quality work under tight deadlines and high pressure.  Strong interpersonal relations skills and the ability to communication effectively though positive leadership is essential to this role.  Experience in reading plans and specifications, knowledge of construction sites, and an understanding of OSHA regulations is essential.  The position also requires a solid understanding of project finances, subcontractor relations, and materials purchasing.  Familiarity and experience with small and medium size construction equipment is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications: 

   - 3 years in landscape contracting, construction, or arboriculture.

  -  1 year experience as foreman, superintendent, or in account management.

Preferred Qualifications:

-  2 or 4 year degree in related field.
