Quarry Supervisor

Quarry Supervisor   A global building materials company has asked MRI Atlanta Peachtree North to locate a Quarry Supervisor for their Georgia manufacturing facility. This facility needs someone that understands the importance of safety, productivity, quality and efficiency. The Quarry Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the quarry in a manufacturing environment. The company is searching for someone that is energetic and knowledgeable in conveying systems and industrial equipment.


 


The job requirements are:


· Prior experience in a supervisor or engineering role in a manufacturing operation.


· A 4-year Mining Engineering degree from an accredited college and 4 or more years of experience in a supporting role.


· Experience in supervising hourly employees.


· Good communication skills and leadership abilities.


· The ability to make things happen with a sense of urgency.


· The ability to get along with others and work in a team environment.
