SUMMARY
Function: Maintains and services Ultra Low Freezers, refrigerators, ice machines, drinking fountains and ancillary equipment related to refrigeration systems.

Scope: Impacts the refrigeration systems through maintenance and service.

Essential Function
1. Installs, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains refrigeration equipment on a continuing basis.

2. Performs preventive maintenance tasks as dictated in the PM Work Orders which must result in meeting or exceeding the JCAHO On-time completion rate of 95% at any given time.

3. Produce the products requested by our customers by way of Demand Work Orders which must result in meeting or exceeding the departmental productivity rate.

EDUCATION
Required: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: Two-year Associate Degree in HVAC/R.

EXPERIENCE
Required: Five years experience in a mechanical field to include HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems or other mechanical environment. Must be experienced in the installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC and/or refrigeration equipment to include cryogenic equipment and refrigerant gas.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Preferred: Class II EPA license
