Service Technician

We are looking for a full-time maintenance technician to service routes in Northeastern New Jersey.

 

As one of our service technicians, you would be assigned a route of ATMs in your local area, and you would be responsible for cleaning and performing other exterior maintenance on those ATMs on a regular basis, normally monthly or quarterly.

 

This is a great job for people who want a flexible schedule, who like to be outside, and who can work on their own with minimal supervision. If you have previous customer service or maintenance experience but want more flexibility and variety, this might be a perfect fit for you.

 

We will provide training in the proper methods for working on ATMs, and we will maintain route lists, scheduling, and contact with the customer to ensure your service route goes smoothly. You will be reporting your work daily via email and taking digital photos of all work completed. We provide all necessary equipment and tools. You drive your own car and we pay a mileage reimbursement. This is a maintenance job, not an electronics repair job. Qualifications:Must be reliable and responsible, and able to manage your time and schedule without direct supervision. Once you have accepted a route and been trained, there will be no one else in the area to fill in if you can?t complete it. Must be able to speak, write, and understand English and be polite to bank managers and customers at the ATM.  Previous customer service experience preferred. Must be able to report work daily via email. Must have a good driving record, a valid driver?s license, and a safe, insured vehicle. The company will reimburse for use of your own vehicle at the IRS standard rate, but you will be responsible for providing adequate insurance coverage and your driving record must be free of major moving violations. Must be able to provide personal and professional references and pass a comprehensive background check. Must be able to pass a drug screening. Must have common sense and practical problem-solving skills. Able to think on your feet. Familiarity with basic hand tools (drill, etc) would be helpful. Must be able to do 10-12 days per quarter of overnight travel at our expense. Compensation and Benefits:

?  $28,000 to $38,000 annual. Actual pay is a per ATM rate that varies for each route depending on drive time.

?  There may be additional bonus opportunities depending on productivity.

 

?  Reimbursement for use of vehicle at the IRS standard mileage rate.

?  The job has a flexible schedule as to start and end times and specific days worked, but all work must be done during daylight hours and within the time period specified.
