RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Investment Research
a. Primary research responsibilities for certain of the MassMutual funds in the Retirement Services and Variable Annuity platforms and corresponding investment managers
b. Secondary research responsibilities for certain other funds and corresponding investment managers
c. Interacts with investment management community to understand market, product, and trends
d. Manage ad-hoc projects designed to bolster the research process
e. Conduct screening and interviewing of prospective and existing money managers
2. Investment Product Management
a. Manage ad-hoc requests related to the delivery of information to various MassMutual internal clients such as Compliance, Legal, and Marketing Communications
b. Occasional auditing of marketing materials and Board communications
3. Investment Client Service
a. Provide back-up support to other investment consultants on conference calls and/or client visits
b. Technical help desk for assisting the sales and marketing staff

Examples include: sales volume, payroll expense, operating budget and volume of goods purchased.
? Manages his/her portion of the $32 billion portfolio to performance standards
? Successful results translate into asset retention/growth in the sub-advised funds covered
? Successful results translate into new client acquisitions
? Work as a team player in the due diligence, client service, marketing and operations processes to foster a collegial and efficient management of the investment options.
? Coordination and timeliness of projects and regular due diligence responsibilities
? Responsible for the accessibility of files and corresponding clarity of documents within files in order to prepare for SEC audits

Demonstrates good communication (both oral and written) skills to effectively share investment findings with team and internal clients. Has professional maturity to effectively interface with internal and external customers, investment managers and team members.

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Job Requirements: 5 Years Retirement or related investment experienceCollege degree CFA preferred or commitment to attaining the CFANASD Series 6, 63 registrations required. Candidates hired into this position who do not hold their NASD Series 6, 63 are required to obtain the registration at MassMutual's cost.
