LMR Business Development Manager

Currently we are seeking a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Business Development Manager in our Irving, Texas facility. This candidate will educate the customer community, successfully position EFJohnson radios as the preferred product and develop product delivery plans.

 

Principle Duties/ Responsibilities Include; but not limited to:
Provide product presentations to state and local government agencies. Assess the feature and configuration requirements of users. Exhibits desirable and appropriate professional behavior including leadership, sense of urgency, independent judgment, teamwork, ability to get along with others, creative thinking and personal integrity to provide for a cohesive, productive unit dedicated to the achievement of corporate goals. Domestic travel as required for completion of Primary Objective (more than 50%).

 

Education and Experience:Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience in Business/Marketing or Bachelors? degree in Engineering with subsequent work experience equivalent. State and Local public safety communications operations. Land Mobile Radio background. Excellent communication skills Technical knowledge of Land Mobile Radio (LMR). Understanding of Trunked radio systems. Five to ten years experience in Land Mobile Radio (LMR) business. Previous experience in a sales or marketing roll of Land Mobil Radios (optional). Developing and delivering presentations, both internal and external.

 

Other Requirements:Ability to develop constructive and effective working relationships within and outside the organization. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with all levels of the organization and with external contacts. Ability to create and deliver powerful and effective presentations. Ability to work in a complete customer satisfaction environment. Proven negotiation skills are essential. Ability and desire to understand two-way radio systems concepts. Competence in wireless technology, project management and business analysis. Capable of understanding technically complex systems and products and translating them into easily understood business terms Objective and fact-based approach to problem solving that is highly quantitative.
