Job Duties

Sell World?s residential Loan products to existing World customers, realtors, and other prospects.
Independently assess inbound and outbound calls from customers interested in various Loan products.
Educate customers regarding their current loan and discuss available loan options.
Make appropriate recommendations based upon customers? qualifications and financial situation.
Calculate debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios and explain basic Underwriting guidelines to customers.
Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all of World?s real estate Loan programs and guidelines, including Loan industry changes.
Maintain knowledge of pricing and broker demand procedures.
Contact referrals/leads by telephone and maintain a database of contact information.
Accept Loan applications and submit to Underwriters for processing; follow up with customer regarding status of their loan or any other issues.
Monitor pipeline of loans and ensure that funding dates are met by coordinating with Loan Processors.
Travel?some travel may be required.



Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
2 years of direct sales experience preferred.
1 year of experience in the mortgage or finance industry is desired.
Ability to sell and service customers in person and via telephone.
Ability to counsel prospective borrower into appropriate financial decisions.
Must have strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work effectively.
Ability to maintain a high volume of production.
Intermediate math skills required.
Must be team oriented.
Ability to travel periodically.
