Project Manager - Engineering Construction

PAE Government Services is seeking 2 Project Managers for our contract in Juba, AFRICA.  The project is comprised of the construction and renovation of USAID office and residential buildings compounds in Juba.  The incumbents will:  supervise 40 personnel made up of 3rd country national, local nations, and expats, manage and oversee all aspects of the project including operations, project plannning and scheduling, construction, procurement, budget and finances, personnel hiring, supply and logistics, reviews technical design and engineering changes.  Responsible for conducting meetings with USAID Contracting Officer, Technical Representative, Contracting Officers Representative and others as required to ensure a smooth running of the project and to ensure client satisfaction with project execution.  Responsibile for developing and providing project operatrions and business reports.

 

Possess university degree in an engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical)

Posses releveant project management skills and expertise, project management certification a plus

Possess minimum of 10 -12 years expereince in building contractution, refurbishment and construction related operations

Posses indepth working knowledge of the building trades

Possess 4-6 years expereince in managing and overseeing residential construction type projects; proven supervisory expereince

Computer lierate with knowledge of MS Project, Visio, AutoCad, and MS Office applications

Expereince working on infrastrautre development projects in undeveloped contries a plus

Ability to under stressful conditions, motivie a multi-cultural team and meet project timelines and milestones

Ability to work in demanding, austere environments

Expereince in living and working in Africa a plus

General contract expereince a plus.

 

PAE offers its employees medical and life insurance at no expense to the employee.  Dental insurance is also offered a minimal cost.  Emloyee eleigible for perdiem while in host nation and paid R7R trvael every 4 months.
