SofTec I.T. has a premier client in Raleigh, NC seeking someone with the following skills and work experience:
Job Purpose:
Works closely with internal HR and Payroll customers, business process team members, and third party vendors to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical and functional solutions. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, configuring, testing, implementing and supporting software that is delivered on time and within budget. Must possess strong communications/people skills as projects are both self directed and team oriented.
Primary Job Tasks/Responsibilities: Provide development and support for SAP ERP solution for HR/Payroll. This includes but is not limited to: Configuration, reporting, testing/validation, interface support, business process/functional end use support. Develop and maintain project plans for all work assignments in their area. This includes new systems development and implementations as well as new business process rollouts.Provide software development and testing processes for technical quality, adhere to I.T. dept standards and conform to end user requirements. Using available tools to test all SAP HOTPACKS to ensure upgrades with no adverse impact on the business.Provide business process expertise and assist in problem identification and resolution. Keep user community informed of issues and resolutions. Advise on process improvements using available IT tools. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Required Skills/Competencies:3-5 years hands-on experience with SAP HR/Payroll modulesDemonstrated knowledge of HR/Payroll configurationStrong analytical and problem solving skills BA in computer science, information systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
