Application Software Engineer
Job Summary:
NimbleGen Systems Inc. is looking to hire an Application Software Engineer. This position will be part of the Informatics Group, and will be responsible for both internal and product software development. This position includes the following job responsibilities:
? Software Requirements Gathering
? Software Systems Design
? Development
? Testing
? Code level documentation
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
? Object oriented programming in Java or C++
? Unix and MSWindows experience
? Experience with relational database systems
? Commercial software development expertise
? Web/PHP/Perl experience preferred
? BA/BS in software development or engineering preferred
? Experience in Molecular Biology is desirable
