Automation Engineer

DESCRIPTION:  The primary responsibility of this position is to provide in-house and on-site software testing to ensure successful factory automation operation at Semiconductor fabs for Metrology product lines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our equipments meet SEMI standards and individual customer requirements for factory automation.  The candidate will facilitate automation issues related to products working directly with customers and local representatives. He/She will work closely with other AMS departments to assure full support of customer needs related to automation.  This position reports to Applications and Customer Support Manager. 
 
 


EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum of Bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline.
Knowledgeable of all relevant SEMI software automation standards.
Fab automation experience and SECS/GEM applications are needed.
Experienced in writing scripts in SecsSimPro or equivalent software package.
Experienced in working with EFEM and RFI tag readers.
Working knowledge using CCS Envoy to verify compliance of customer automation testing.
Demonstrated good customer interaction records with strong presentation and communications skills.
Must be self-motivated and a team player.
Must be customer-focused, proactive, organized, and a logical thinker.
