Position Purpose

Provide professional, specialized skills, including business continuity planning, project management, and problem analysis and resolution.

Participate in business continuity practices for clients such as risk assessment and strategy development, for clients.

Design, edit and refine business continuity plans for clients.

Assist clients in resolving business issues related to disaster recovery planning.

Participate in sales and marketing events promoting the business continuity practice.

Responsibilities

?  Perform assessments of potential business impact.

?  Development and definition of critical, time-sensitive functions (RTO?s)

?  Performing threat and risk analysis activities (RA?s)

?  Design, develop and document business continuity plans.

?  Recommend recovery strategies and options, and assist with the implementation of recovery solutions.

?  Coordinate business continuity plan exercises; assessments, testing, training, etc.

?  Provide expertise and support to clients when a business disruption occurs.Some travel is required.

SkillsStrong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.Strong verbal and written communications. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with clients, users, senior level management, peers and vendors.Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates.Versatility to bridge different technologies in an emerging and highly competitive industry. Must be a leader and a productive team player.

Experience5 years experience in IT, specifically infrastructure.Experience in the design and administration of disaster recovery planning for business processes and supporting infrastructure components. Experience in management of large complex projects.

 

Educational Requirements / CertificationsBachelors degree in computer science or related is preferred. CBCP certification preferred.Other certifications in related discipline experience are a plus.
