EDO Corporation / Darlington Operations provide CENTRIXS-M training to the U.S. Navy in order to effectively operate in multi-national and combined operations with Coalition Partners. CENTRIXS-M training consists of, but not limited to, the following systems and applications: NT, WIN 2000, XP and UNIX servers on classified IP networks, ADNS, routers, COP, Chat, Persistent Chat, Active Directory, Web Administration and all peripheral equipment and interfaces. As part of the effort to ensure training requirements are met, the contractor shall provide technical support, curricula development, training execution, and exercise support for the CENTRIXS-M in accordance with objectives outlined by PMW 160.

DUTIES: Technical support personnel shall be immediately deployable, intimate with
fleet communications requirements and the CENTRIXS-M architecture, and proficient in the operational use and maintenance of the installed equipment. This may include pre-deployment and on-going training for designated users in the information and communications systems. The contractor shall develop communications training for CENTRIXS-M operators and system administrators and conduct training for specific customers. Additional duties include providing written procedures and documentation that will permit non-communications-trained personnel to effectively operate and monitor the operation of these systems. Familiarization with data collection, processing and communications systems operations shall be provided. As part of ongoing operations, duties may include providing technical support to units involved in multi-national exercises and operations that use CENTRIXS-M. Contractor personnel shall be deployed to support both units afloat and shore sites.

QUALIFICATIONS: Navy Training Specialist in COMPOSE, ISNS or other related fields. Minimum of 7 years experience in network configuration and systems administration knowledge in addition to software installation experience in a LAN environment. Conduct CENTRIXS-M operator and maintainer training. Applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideal candidate will have U.S. Navy shore and fleet experience with U.S. Navy IP communications and CENTRIXS-M knowledge. Understanding of Lotus Domino, Networking and Windows O/S is imperative. This position requires a minimum ?Secret? security clearance. Applicants must have held an active U.S. government security clearance within last 18 months.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel will be required to CONUS and OCONUS.
