Data Coordinator (Signal Processing Technician)

Description:
The Data Coordinator (Signal Processing Technician) provides technical assistance under the direction of the Signal Processing Supervisor in the Diagnostic Image and Signal Processing (DISP) Laboratory. Provides electronic image collection, processing, analysis, and archiving services to support basic and translational clinical research. Participates with Behavioral Medicine, Hematology Oncology, and Radiation Oncology to coordinate data retrieval and reporting. Participates with Biostatistics in the preparation of files for statistical analysis. Prepares, enters, and queries data in conjunction with CPDMO for human subjects research conducted in the Division of Translational Imaging Research (TIR).

Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required. Associate's degree in a related field preferred. Four (4) years of data management experience in a research, medical, or scientific field required.
An Associate's degree in a related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix, MS Windows, MS Office, Reference Manager, MATLAB, Adobe PhotoShop preferred.
Familiarity with networked and/or distributed computing environments a plus.
