Data Modler/Business Analyst

Comsys is recruiting/hiring for a Business Analyst with solid data analysis and data modeling skills.  You will participate in the development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, load and extract data from the warehouse to multiple data marts.  Experience in data modeling, logical database design, data mapping, SQL writing, or using a query tool against a database is highly desired.  You will map the requirements to the source systems, the EDW and applicable data marts.  There is an emphasis on business requirements gathering in a full life cycle project process, from planning to production implementation.  You will act as a liaison to the business owners and serve as the technical resource to business and analytic staff.  Facilitate interviews and group sessions to obtain business requirements, gather detailed business and technical requirments and participate in the definitions of business rules and data standards.

You should have 7+ years experience in business analysis  techniques  and 4+ years working in the financial services industry. Experience working on data warehouse/data mart development projects, user acceptance testing and knowledge of emerging technologies and data warehousing trends is preferred.
