JOB SUMMARY:

 

Position will serve as the Director of IT whose primary role will be to spearhead the implementation and ongoing administration of Salesforce.com., as well to oversee our internal network, provide desktop support and maintain and update our website.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

Design and implementation of Salesforce.com reports and dashboards

Research and development of new Salesforce.com applications to aid organization

Oversee Salesforce.com data entry and audit of existing data

Provide training for staff on Salesforce.com quarterly

Administration of Salesforce.com users and security

Weekly Back-up of Salesforce.com data for data recovery purposes

Formulate, build, implement and maintain network architectures, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN servers, wireless NAPs and other similar network equipment

Be able to select, install, maintain and troubleshoot x86 PC hardware

Provide basic support on desktop Windows machines, installation of software, antivirus / patches checking and similar tasks to internal users

Keep track of licenses of commercial software and other licensing required for normal operation of the services in the network

Work closely and communicate clearly with a group of people with varied skill-sets

Serve as a point of contact with vendors; review and evaluate vendor products

Produce and improve overall documentation related to the network

Provide technical leadership on website design and implementation

Provide technical leadership for integration of website and Salesforce.com

Provide strategy for long-term website development and design utilizing plug & play for ease of maintenance

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

 

? Experience with database software / CRM solutions ? ACT, Goldmine, Salesforce.com
? 2+ years of industry experience as a Network and/or Systems Administrator, with good knowledge of security practices
? Good knowledge of TCP/IP related protocols
? Intermediate to advanced knowledge of and experience with network equipment
? Good service attitude to end-users
? Good organizational skills
? Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written

 

PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

 

? Knowledge of and experience with Open Source software and applications
? Knowledge of and experience with MS Windows desktop systems
? Security related certifications would be a plus
? CCNA or higher

?  SQL,  C+ experience would be beneficial

?  Salesforce.com administrator experience would be helpful
