Field Account Executive - Higher Education

Higher Education Field Account Executive - Pennsylvania - The Education Field Account Executive will be part of our Education outside sales team and will be responsible for all of CDW?G?s Higher Education activity in Pennsylvania.

Essential Functions:
? Meeting quota and revenue targets, prospecting and developing accounts and developing relationships with our strategic partners.
? Manage sales cycle of Higher Education accounts to obtain sales of products carried by CDW?G.
? Develop relationships with CDW?G?s strategic partners to leverage their resources.
? Work closely with other regional- and HQ-based coworkers to ensure that sales, marketing and contract programs are consistently and effectively implemented.
? Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge on CDW?G?s products, as well as competitors? products.
? Present CDW?G?s capabilities at seminars, tabletop shows and to user groups.
? Complete and submit on a timely basis all required reports, such as forecasts, activity, compensation and expense reports, as well as input - on a daily basis - all activities, including meetings, contacts, calendar, travel, updates and forecasts into the sales management program.

Qualifications:
? Must have prior experience in selling computer hardware, software, solutions or services to Education Accounts in this territory.
? College degree or equivalent industry experience.
? 3+ years of sales experience in the public sector marketplace.
? Knowledge of government procurement budgets and procurement cycles.
? Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, effective interper-sonal skills, an energetic and enthusiastic individual.
? Motivated by achievement, challenge, competition and being part of a winning team.

This is an outside sales position and will involve travel throughout the assigned territory.
