GLOBAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

DESCRIPTION:
Bloomberg's Global Technical Support (GTS) is seeking dynamic, motivated individuals to work in a global, fast-paced, technical environment. Key responsibilities
include: providing critical software, hardware & network trouble-shooting, and assisting customers in the maintenance & support of both the Bloomberg
system & supplementary electronic trading platforms within their own internal networks. You will also be asked to lias with other internal departments such as Sales, Analytics, Installations & Networks, in order to ensure a seamless level of outstanding customer service. Other responsibilities include dealing with suppliers, Field Service engineers & third party on-site contractors & meeting departmental project deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience of working in a help-desk environment & a general knowledge of IT is highly desirable. Candidates are required to demonstrate outstanding communication & interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team
environment. Excellent listening, questioning and analytical skills along with the ability to remain calm under pressure & work in a concise, clear & focused manner are necessary.

BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.

 

French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and/or Spanish a plus!
