POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide enterprise application architecture leadership, consulting services and stewardship for data warehouse application domain or architecture while contributing to building brand value and achieving enduring proftable growth. Understand Nissan's global/regional strategic and tactical business plans, strategies, objectives, and priorities as they link to IS Data Warehouse application architecture framework and standards, as well as document/analyze current data warehouse architectures for responsible areas to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement. Provide project data and data warehouse architecture support during all phases of the development process. Identify/resolve new requirements or guide standards relating to data and data warehouse design. Create/maintain logical and physical designs for specific data warehouse application systems. Access across various project initiatives to foster flexible, integrated data warehouse services. Participate in the architecture governance and review process to ensure project adherence to established standards. Ensure project design artifacts are incorporated into Nissan's enterprise architecture repository. Advanced problem solving, communication, relationship building, leadership and team management skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, staff, and service providers. Strong ability to discuss data warehouse architecture in a business context and familiarity with key development standards. Seven years of analysis, design, development and implementation experience with data warehouse applications. Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent combination in education/experience, with advanced degree preferred. Thorough computer knowledge with personal productivity tools such as word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tools, Visio, and other relevant PC applications. Project management experience a strong plus. Approximately 20% day and overnight travel.
