Help Desk Analyst (Certifications NOT required)

Position:  Help Desk Analyst (3 openings)

 

 

Position Summary:  Our client, an Application Service Provider, is looking for three (3) top-notch Help Desk Analysts to join their team.  Help Desk Analysts provide support to both external and internal customers, partners, and prospective customers by resolving customer service requests.  Primary duties are to respond to phone calls and emails related to the company?s product, log and resolve issues in a timely manner.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

? Provide technical and customer service support in the use of a proprietary application by providing solutions, workarounds and recommendations in a quick and timely manner.

? Troubleshoot software, database, and other related technical issues with assistance from appropriate company resources.

? Log and track all issues.

? Provide high quality customer service through courteous, prompt and accurate communication.

? Attend company-provided training classes to advance knowledge of company products and capabilities.

? Some travel may be required to conduct training classes or attend conferences.

? Work on one of three 8-hour shifts per day, as scheduled by the Help Desk Manager.

? Work on projects and other duties as assigned.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

? 1-2 years work experience in a customer service oriented position or call center environment.

? Essentials of excellent customer service.

? Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP/2003, Microsoft Business Products, Internet Usage, Browser troubleshooting experience preferred.

? Organize and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

? Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

? Maintain confidentiality of information.

? Government Security Clearance a plus, but not required.
